An iPhone or iPad turns View IPTV into a portable TV. The setup is quick because you only need a compatible IPTV player app from the App Store and the login details we send you. Once it is set up, you can watch at home on Wi-Fi, in a hotel or anywhere with a good connection.
The iPad is especially nice for movies and series thanks to its larger screen, and both devices can share their screen with a TV when you want a bigger picture. This guide covers installation, sign-in and a few tips to keep playback smooth.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad with a current version of iOS or iPadOS.
- An Apple ID signed in to the App Store.
- Your View IPTV login details. Message us on WhatsApp for a free trial if you do not have them yet.
- A good Wi-Fi network. For viewing on cellular, check your data plan first.
Step-by-step setup
- Open the App Store. Tap the App Store icon on your home screen and open the Search tab at the bottom.
- Search for an IPTV player. Type IPTV player and look for an app that lets you sign in with a username and password or add a playlist address. Read the app description to confirm it supports those options.
- Install the app. Tap Get, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your password, and wait for the download. Then tap Open.
- Add your account. Tap the option to add a playlist or login and paste in the details we sent you. Copying and pasting from WhatsApp avoids typing mistakes.
- Wait for the first load. The app downloads your channel list and TV guide. This takes a minute or two on the first run, so keep the app open.
- Open a channel and test the picture. Tap a channel and rotate your device to landscape. If playback is smooth, you are ready to go.
- Mirror to your TV if you like. Use your device's screen sharing feature to show the picture on a compatible TV or streaming box in the same room.
Watching on a bigger screen from your iPhone or iPad
Your device does not have to stay small. If you own a compatible TV or streaming box, open the Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring and choose your TV. The player's picture then appears on the big screen, and your phone becomes the remote control.
Another option is a digital AV adapter that connects your device to a TV by HDMI. It is a simple wired choice that avoids Wi-Fi delays and works anywhere there is an HDMI port, such as a hotel room.
For long viewing sessions on an iPad, a stand or case that holds the screen at an angle makes it much more comfortable. Turn on Do Not Disturb so that notifications do not interrupt a movie.
Tips for smooth viewing
- Turn on Low Power Mode only when you need it. It can lower video quality on some apps.
- Keep your device updated. New iOS versions often fix video playback problems.
- Close other heavy apps before you start a stream on an older iPhone or iPad.
- Use headphones for late-night viewing and enjoy the same picture without disturbing others.
Test before you buy
